It's Finale Fever!!! And believe it, when we say, we began with a Bang!!! And we are going out with a Bang!!!

Wow! How time flies...Just yestaday we began with 15 contestants...Idemili, Bobby Taylor, TLK, Sparkle, Every1 loves a 9ja gal, I'm a babe, AbujaBabe, Chicala, Nigerican, 9ja Dude, Mimi, Lurlar, D-Scribe, T.Minx, and Diary of a G...They came & conquered with their voices...showin' BlogVille resident that they could sing any genres of music. And over the space of three week, they have blow the roof off with R & B,9ja Vibez, Rock and even Jamaican music... it wasn't smooth journey all d way but we survived through all hate comments, technical problems/difficult...through it all we came out stronger...Yipee!!!

Now we are down to two contestants…WHO'S GONNA BE OUR BLOGVILLE IDOLS??? WHO IS GOING TO BE CROWNED THE VERY FIRST...? (Abeg don't expect season 2...LAWL!!!)

Being on blogvile idol was fun while it lasted. I dont feel too bad about leaving, though it was sort of unexpected. Sparkle speech-eliminated in session 3

When I heard about the BLOGVILLE IDOLS CONTEST, I was impressed with Pink Satin and Opeke for bringing up that idea, I couldn't wait to get on the page and sign my heart out, even with my thick baritone voice, lmao...I've always been told that I sound different when I just talk straight to people and when I talk on the phone, so when I started recording my song, I was not really surprised when I heard what I sang, it was WACK! LOL, but I didn't care, all I wanted to do was get better, and so the best I could to stay in. I even stopped drinking cold water, which is like a really big thing for me, Blogville made me break my addiction...dats a really great thing. I got alot of hate comments from people out there, and I also got some comments on how I could improve. It's really a great thing for me to give up some of the things I had to do so I could sing on blogspot, it was meant to be fun, and yes it was, at the same time it got serious because I did every possible thing I could to make my voice better, I knwo I can't just wake up one morning and start singing like Alicia Keys herself, but I tried.To cut the story short, I had fun being a Blogville Idol contestant, LOL, atleast I'm popular...and if I'm right, I should be getting an award for the worst auditon, infact I cleared a table in my room where I can place my throphy.LOL, I really give my props to PinkPeke Production, I'm sure you guys will do ALOT better next year, I mean for starters, you guys did a great job. The theme for this Session(Friday-June 15th 2007) is "NAIJA INVASION!!!"

Contestants will be singing any NIGERIAN songs of their choice.(except for Diary of a G who isnt a Nigerian and would be singing a Jamaican song-bring on the Patois Mr Diary-lol)) The songs must have been recorded by a Nigerian artist. So give us the Naija Vibez...Let the competition begin!

Hi contestants most of u have said u want to use a soundtrack...u are allowed to sing in whatever way u please e.t.c..an acapella,over a soundtrack..e.t.c.just make ur voice audible and real clear..You do not need to let us know what songs you want to sing!Make sure u state ur blog name before and after ur song..If u cannot record ur song on the contest day you may record it before(we will make it private till everyone has their songs up). You will be notified once we get your songsYou are allowed to solict for votes by making blog rounds and letting bloggers know you are a contestant...u may also do a post on it.Before the end of today you will be giving a logo/image stating that you are a contestant in the blogville idol contest,u will put this logo on ur blog page.

v Those eliminated would be notified on this page(through the voice player by host and a written post) and also on their pages)
v The grand finale would feature the two finalists and they will sing two songs of their choice.
