CONDITION OF ENTRY
v Eligibility: This competition is open to all Blogville residents
v How To Enter: Put ur name down on this page(Blogville idol) and send your blogname,interests,favorite musician and pictures(cartoon character or if u want to use your real picture) to opeke9ja@yahoo.com
v No vacancy for 419 here
RULES FOR THE CONTESTANTS
v One song per a recording session
v Your song must be 1 minutes in length
v Your song will be sung by YOU! No Ojoro
v You will be notified when to submit your songs at each contest session
v Songs will be recorded on this page via the blue voice player on the left hand side of the page
v You will be allowed to sing song of your choice, Blogger’s choice song and any genre giving to you by the producers (Miss Pinky & Miss Opeke)
v You may sing an acapella or use instruments if u want,ur own made beats
vYou may sing over a soundtrack.
V You are expected to make your voice really clear and audible
v You are expected to record your songs anytime on Monday and Friday
v You will state your blog name before and after your song
v Contestants may not vote
RULES FOR THE VOTERs
v Voting is open to all Blogville residents and visitors.
v One vote per person
v Voters will vote via a voting poll add on which will be available soon
v Voters are allowed to leave a written comment on d Blogville idol page on anything concerning the contest(singers,judges e.t.c)
v Voters/all bloggers would be contributing by letting us know what songs they want the contestants to sing(pls put down the songs in the appropriate post)
v Voter will vote for the contest session as follows:
Monday session between Tuesday and Wednesday
Friday session between Friday and Saturday,Sunday morning
JUDGES
v Judges are allowed to vote
v Judges will comment on contestants for the :
Monday session competition on Monday night or Tuesday morning
Friday session competition on Friday night or Saturday morning
HOST
v Host will usher in the show and wrap up the show
v Host will announce the contestant with least votes for the :
Monday session on: Thursday
&
Friday session on Sunday
PROCEDURE
v Contest is starting on MONDAY June 11 2007
v The singing will end on FRIDAY 29th June 2007
v Winner will be announced SUNDAY 1st July 2007
v Contest will take place for a duration of three(3) weeks
v There will be 14 contestants
v Contest days are Monday and Friday
v Two contestants with the lowest votes would be eliminated at each contest i.e. 4 contestants will be eliminated each week (in the 2nd session of the 1st week 3 contestants will be eliminated in the 2nd week 5 contestants will be eliminated)
v Those eliminated would be notified on this page(through the voice player by host and a written post) and also on their pages)
v The grand finale would feature the two finalists and they will sing two songs of their choice.
More information would be out soon…Contestants we would be getting in touch with you to let you know what songs you will be singing. Host and judges please be creative.pls feel free to leave suggestions.

Hmmm well is d list of the contestant going to be out? when? Suggestion: I think you shld allow all the contestant sing an intro song of their choice,mathching their pic,nd profile(knowing who is who).......then when the voters and judges are familiar with them..they can pick songs for dem afterwards. Just a suggestion u dnt have to use it. Good Job girls. Can we know our judges too pls? cos i dnt want simon(secretly) criticizing me...or else na so so cry i go dey cry every week.lol

As said earlier you do not need to have a voice comment player on your page....just go to the blogville idol page and record you will be asked to dial a no depending on your country..The beauty of this competition is that you do not have to send in your song till u feel it is perfect...pls visit this page regularly as more info will be coming up...Do not forget to familiarise yourself with the voice player.Thank you
