Fortunately everybody is a winner in Idols! I liked naijadude's performance on the stage. As I watched him, I noticed at once that he had a lot of energy. so I'd like to announce that my company has decided to award him a contract! Yes, he will be starring in our up coming movie "Slick Voices" along side Ify of big brother! Hurray!
Awwwwww, congrats to everyone who's still on the show, Naijadude and Nigercan, we'll miss you....good job!

I don't think you should put a time limit on the songs... why? because some contestants had a limited phone length and could not record past 40 secs or less after numerous trials.....
However, i feel the song should not be too short or too long and plus u don't need to sing an opera to show off your skills. Good luck @ all....GIve it your all.

Its getting a bit confusing...I'll try one more time. There should be a deadline for submission of songs like "please submit your songs before so and so" and a time for releasing results like "please come back at so and so for the decision.... so the contestants have a time frame to work towards....not a time limit on the songs...thats a diff story..

Hey contestant we are trying our very best..it is not easy organising this as we all are in diff time zones....
Our recordiing sessions are monday and friday(meaning ur songs must reach us by Monday 11:59 am and friday 11:59am) but if u can get urs in early that would be cool..if u get it in late u must have a valid reason!
1 min 30 second is the MAXIMUM time limit....that means ur song can be less than that....we however are not strict with this rule we just want to give u an idea of the time frame sa....

Speaking for myself, although I have internet access at home, I don't have a lot of spare time during the weekend(unlike when I am at work trying to look busy, LOL!).
So maybe you should try putting up the contestants' songs on Monday and Thursday(instead of Friday)next week?

Nice work ppl, I can see posts as early as 4:16 am. No mata the tym zone, it's still AM and early (unless u're in australia or wherever) and that shows how serious u guys take this thing, that's impressive, y'all should keep it up - the contestants, the judges (illegal and legal ones), the producers and everyone else making this thing so much fun for me.
