Singing Session & the songs
| IDOL CONTEST STARTS JUNE 11 2007 Hi contestants most of u have said u want to use a soundtrack...u are allowed to sing in whatever way u please e.t.c..an acapella,over a soundtrack..e.t.c.just make ur voice audible and real clear..You do not need to let us know what songs you want to sing!Make sure u state ur blog name before and after ur song..If u cannot record ur song on the contest day you may record it before(we will make it private till everyone has their songs up). You will be notified once we get your songsYou are allowed to solict for votes by making blog rounds and letting bloggers know you are a contestant...u may also do a post on it.Before the end of today you will be giving a logo/image stating that you are a contestant in the blogville idol contest,u will put this logo on ur blog page. I jst realised i didnt delete one that i wasnt supposed to save, i'm pretty sure u'v noticed 'the one', lol. The shorter one. Abeg help me delete it o and dont put it on, lol. Looking 4ward to monday.
I was thinking, shouldn't there be some kinda PRIZE for the eventual winner. I mean there should be something tangible or otherwise the winner can get, apart from the status as the first ever winner of Blog IDOLS
the thing don tire me o, each time i record stuff it breaks while u'r listening or u dont even hear a thing. I didnt send any others apart from those 2.
I'l try 2 send a clearer one b4 monday sha, hopefully the player doesnt fail on me again.

recording a song for a minute is quite short, so can u make it 1 minute 30 secs? that way a whole verse and chorus can be covered. most songs are usually formatted within that range. just a thot!
@ mimi...we would have liked contestants to sing for a longer duration...but since there are 13 contestants that is 13 minutes already....we do not want pple to get tired of listening so we want to keep it short...as contestants are cut down then we can increase the duration...

@ bitchy non judges would hear contestants sing on tueday and wednesday and then they can vote for the contestant of thier choice after listening to the conetstants sing and the judges remark
