Bobby Taylor - I love the confidence in your voice, however, the song itself did not do it for me, even though you sung it nicely.
Diary of a G - Easily the most energetic of the lot. You might have had an unfair advantage having musical accompaniment, without which, you might not have pulled this one off.
Idemmili - Give up the day job. Easily the best of this round, of the competition so far. I listened three times, each time in awe. You can sing under my window any time.
Sparkle - Your highs and lows were a bit off, but your midrange is perfect and moving.
Everyone Loves a Naija Girl - The transmission was wobbly and did funny things to your voice. I think you should have a chance to resubmit.
Mimi - It sounded like you were trying too hard, over accentuating certain words and notes. Let it flow naturally.
dScribe/2ndCorin5:17 - My favourite in the first round. Despite a few transmission problems this time, your talent still came through. Your voice is never purer than when you sustain a note.
Last King of Scotland - I enjoyed the song, but I think you should have sung it in a key that suits your baritone voice.
Tminx - Your voice just might have the most potential of all the contestants. There are hints of creaminess (despite your lactose intolerance) in your voice, which if you harness or find songs that highlight it, may carry you to victory.
AbujaBabe - The first verse was beautiful, but you seemed to lose the tune a bit in the second and third. I still love your vibrato, especially the way you make it gently fade towards the end of a note.
Im a Babe - A few transmission problems, especially when singing the higher notes. Similar to Mimi. A bit too histrionic, but still, lots of talent there.
LurLar - Transmission problems. You hit quite a few bad notes and I think you will really have to improve to make it to the end.

and about the studio thing
that's home base(right here) I just loop the ending of the song: Limbo by Elephant man
and I did spend time on the beat as I had to increase the volume as it was fading at the end
(listen the real song It will be on my blog music play list)
I also tryed to use I single voice
cos the rules didn't state If A multi-track recorder was acceptable
