BOBBY You have a nice voice... The performance was ok, it sounds like a chilled version of the song.
I could tell you were tired(you also said it was your 7th attempt). You'll most likely make it to the next round and I am sure you'll step up your game.
LURLAR I didn't really like this performance. I can tell your voice is okay, it seems like you've not picked the best songs for you.
D.O.G. I didn't like this at all. Your rapping is better... but your rap wasn't even rock, no it wasn't!
Maybe you should have picked a Limp Bizkit song cos Fred D doesn't sing, he raps.
TMinx I like this song... You have a nice voice, this song was a good choice for you BUT you sounded breathless and pitchy in some bits. I think if you had practised a bit more, you'd have sounded better.
DSCRIBE I am liking you more and more each week! You sang the same song as Bobby... although she has a stronger voice, I preferred your performance because, as usual, you were into your perfomance!
TLK I love Coldplay, I love this song. This performance is definitely better than last week! You really tried, especially when you increased your pitch. I think it's a good enoug performance to get you through to the next round.

Snapv!ne sound was much more cooperative this round. I will admit that I had created a personal fantasy round by matching songs and singers. I was hoping, for example, to hear Bobby Taylor with her smoky vocals sing Janis Joplin - perhaps "Me and Bobby McGee" - and dScribe/2ndCorin5:17 do a Heart soft-rock song like "Dreamboat Annie". Oh well, let's move on to what was done. Oh, wait, Cheetarah, you are like one of those widgets they put in beer cans - I wish I had half your effervescence. The little fanfare you do at the beginning and end of your introductions makes me smile.
Mimi - The girl with the most innocent of voices sang this song like an angel. This was just pure, sweet nectar.
The Last King of Scotland - I like the songs that you choose, even when they may not be the best ones for your voice. However, this song was a good fit and your performance was quite an improvement on previous rounds. My main criticism is that the notes tend to fade off key. I think if you can manage to finish off notes as well as you start them, you will step up to what I think is the top level in this competition.
dScribe/2ndCorin5:17 - Stepping up or down or holding a note ad infinitum, your voice is pleasing to the ear, so much so that I pay much more attention to it than I do to the song that you are singing. Sorry, what song was it that you were singing . . . ? That is a compliment, by the way.
Tminx - You really put your voice to the test with this song. Just how high can you reach anyway? There are alot of notes in this song and you hit most of them spot on, although a few of the transitions were weak. This may have been your best performance. There is still room for improvement though, and again, I think it is just a matter of you finding the song or style that suits your voice. Still waiting.
Diary of a G - The Kid goes grunge. I was listening to Nirvana just yesterday and thought to myself, pity the fool who tries to sing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" on BlogVille Idols . . . "hello, hello, hello, hello" . . . you have guts. What started out as dreadful with your singing turned magical when you rapped to the finish. You are a one-trick pony, but that one trick is quite a good one and may carry you to the end of this contest.
LurLar - Ms electronic voice, how do you do that? This was your best performance so far. You chose a song with a very catchy hook and sang it almost perfectly.
Bobby Taylor - Your stressed voice here added heaps of character to your reinvention of this hit. You removed much of the energy and made it more like a soft rock ballad. Needless to say, your version of "Numb" is quite a departure from the original.
